This product is the powder of dried leaves of Asteraceae plants.
Properties
This product has a greenish-brown powder. There are two types of non-glandular trichomes. One is shaped trichomes with long and curved apical cells, unequal arms and stalk ~ cells. The other is uncategorized non-glandular trichomes with ~ cells. The apical cells are extremely long, twisted and often broken off. Glandular trichomes are sole-shaped on the surface and are made up of relatively overlapping cells. They are sessile. Calcium oxalate group crystals, diameter ~, are present in mesophyll cells.

Method
Take the powder of this product, add (~℃), place it on a water bath and heat to reflux for 10 minutes , filter, evaporate the filtrate to dryness, add n-hexane to the residue to dissolve, and use it as the test solution. Take another reference medicinal material of mugwort leaves and prepare the reference medicinal material solution in the same way. Test according to thin layer chromatography (general rules). Take each ~ of the above two solutions and place them on the same silica gel thin layer plate respectively. Use (~℃) methanol and propylene (.) as the developing agent, unfold, take out, dry, spray with % vanilla solution, and heat at ℃ to spots. Color development is clear. In the chromatogram of the test product, the main spot of the same color appears at the position corresponding to the chromatogram of the control medicinal material. )
